Change a BLOG into a website (A-Z) - part 2

Refer Change a BLOG into a website (A-Z) - part 1.

Refer Creating website
And , to understand database concept  , click SQL - Quick reference
You can refer Some introductions to web also , to get the basic term used in website .
=================================================================
Hope that , you covered all 8 points from Change a BLOG into a website (A-Z) - part 1. Now , we are moving to next point.

What we are going to do now is ,

  • From cPanel , then select subdomain , then re-direct.We will get a subdomain like blog.domainname.com

9:Change the extension "blogger.com"

from your blog and link with your

website address

2 options are there to create a name for your BLOG
  • Create a folder "BLOG" in public_html (if using Filezilla , you can't transfer the files in that folder , because blogger templates are saved in XML format). But you can create the same from cPanel . Whatever changes is there in cPanel , you can see the corresponding changes in Fileilla account also.After creating a folder , we can re-direct that folder into the domain.
  • Create a subdomain for your website . Then the address will be like thisblog.websitename.com . Here also , we have to redirect the folder to the subdomain created.
===============================================================

1:A

  • Form Go Daddy , select the domain in which you want to create a subdomain.
  • Click "Manage" . Then it will lead to the cPanel
  • From cPanel , select the option "Domain" and select the option "subdomain" .
  • You can see 2 options there , CREATE A SUBDOMAIN and MODIFY A SUBDOMAIN.
  • In the  MODIFY A SUBDOMAIN section , you can see all the created subdomains for different Domains.You can edit it , or create a new subdomain.

  • Click "Create"
  • Then we can see ,

  • I chose a subdomain "test" under the Domain "arayankavujci.com".
  • Click "Go Back".
  • We will reach in the previous menu then , and we can delete the subdomain if needed.

  • See an option "Manage redirection" there.
  • Click "HOME" , it will redirect us in to the cPanel Home page.
  • Now we created a subdomain for the Main domain. Now its the time  to redirect it to the main domain.

1:B

  • We are now in cPanel Home page
  • In the DOMAIN tab , you can see another option "Redirect"

  • Click on "Redirects"

  • We can choose the "Type" of re-direct.
A permanent redirect will notify the visitor’s browser to update any bookmarks that are linked to the page that is being redirected. Temporary redirects will not update the visitor’s bookmarks.
  • Select your domain now.
  • Choose the domain from the option "Redirects to" .
  • Click "Add".
IF YOU WANT TO SHOW INY PAGE TEMPORARLY IN YOUR DOMAIN (For example , a Program for a particular date , do this type of redirection. That is ,
  • cPanel , then select subdomain , then re-direct.We will get a subdomain like blog.domainname.com
(Create a Subdomain first .Then redirects it into your website).
=======================================================================
